Lysaght Ballroom

As elegant as the name suggests the Lysaght Ballroom is situated on the first floor of the building and provides a stunning venue for large celebrations. The room caters for up to 170 guests for a wedding breakfast and evening party.

The Lysaght Ball Room features the original arched ceiling and balcony area which runs the full length of the room, ideal for drinks and wedding photography. The Lysaght Ball Room also has a large reception area with an additional balcony.

The ballroom is licensed to host ceremonies and can accommodate 170 guests.

The Lysaght Suite

Situated on the ground floor, the Lysaght Suite offers a more intimate space for smaller celebrations. The Lysaght Suite caters for up to 60 guests for a wedding ceremony.

This Lysaght Suite includes a unique feature wall charting the history of Newport, and has access to landscape gardens for drinks and wedding photography.

Our Lysaght Suite is licensed to host wedding ceremonies and can accommodate 60 guests.

Both our rooms can be decorated to suit your occasion. Our staff can offer their expertise to create the day of your dreams.

I wanted to drop you an email to let you know how happy we were with all of the preparation and delivery of our wedding from the first meeting in November. Nothing has been too much trouble for you and you have been with us every step of the way ensuring our big day went without a hitch.
You transformed the room beyond what we could have ever expected and went well over and above any wedding planner we have encountered! On the actual Wedding day you worked really hard decorating the room and checking that everything was ok as the day went on including looking after our daughter who was a bit overwhelmed. All of the staff present were excellent as the day grew, and we would like to thank Kathryn in particular for checking the lighting was fine, ordering a taxi and going to get some extra cake to save my feet! Nothing was too much trouble for her or any of them on the night. The canapés you provided were delicious and plentiful as was the Hog Roast and salads. We honestly can’t thank you enough for all your hard work and dedication and would thoroughly recommend you to others. Hope to see you soon.
